We are busy planning for 2022, see what we did in 2021:

Snow sculpture is a perennial favourite at the Silver Skate Festival! Each yearteams of 2-3 artists demonstrate how to transform 8-ft high x 8-ft wide x 8-ft deep blocks of snow into magical creations. When they are finished, eight artworks create an ephemeral sculpture garden for the public to enjoy for the duration of the festival. 

The Waiward Snow Sculptures Garden will be up in Hawrelak Park from February 12th until Mother Nature says it's spring. We'd love for you to come take a peek at your leisure. 

Historically, spectators and artists have been able to cast votes for their most loved sculptures for our People's Choice and Artist's Choice Awards handed out during our Everyone’s a Winner Ceremony. But, we are changing it up a bit this year! Find the voting form below, on this page - and photos of the works to remind you which one is which.
